Angels’ Place is a non-profit organization that provides people-centered services, including homes and professional support, for adults with developmental disabilities. Twenty-One residential homes are located in Oakland, Macomb and Wayne Counties. The homes offer residents a family environment with an atmosphere of compassion, dignity, well-being, and the potential for personal growth and acceptance.

Angels’ Place Race includes a 10k run, 5k run/walk, and 1-mile family fun walk. In 2024, over 382 people participated in the virtual and on-site event and over $37,000 dollars was raised. The St. Daniel Catholic Community, Oakland County Sheriff, Independence Twp. Fire Department, Knights of Columbus, along with local businesses, volunteers, and spectators come together to support the successful tradition of this race. Over the past 17 years, this event has raised more than $400,000 in support of Angels’ Place.
